The Tea Rooms
Situated in the original listed building, our Tea Rooms are inspired by the favourite drink that powered Manchester during the Victoria Period – tea. In your room, you’ll find the rich timber, brass and china detail reflects the raw materiality of the traditional teacup, situated close to the original tea factories that used to dominate our streets.
The Arkwright Rooms
The Arkwright Rooms pay homage to Richard Arkwright, the man who opened the first steam-powered cotton mill. Expect rich green velvets and timber elements to create a soft, rustic setting.
The Press Rooms
Finally, our Press Rooms. Using a combination of leather, timber and metal, our Press Rooms celebrate Manchester’s literary and printing past, as well as the industrial machinery used in traditional booking binding and the construction of the original letterpress.
